BIG NEWS! Hope Served Opens Refreshment Bar

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting development in the growth of Hope Served. Hope Served recently entered into a partnership with Pleasant View Communities in Manheim to open a refreshment bar on their senior living campus.

Hope Served Café at Pleasant View will provide employment, job training, and service opportunities to individuals with disabilities and others. A core value of Hope Served is bringing people together across all abilities so we can collectively let our light shine.

This café is part of Hope Served’s long-term vision to develop jobs and supportive relationships for individuals with disabilities in the mainstream of society.

Hope Served Café opens January 6, 2025. The menu will include Hope Served Coffee, lattes and espressos, pastries, and snacks. As we grow the menu, a variety of breakfast options will also be available including breakfast sandwiches, quiche and parfaits.

The café is located alongside Hearth & Harrow, Pleasant View’s signature restaurant and will complement Hearth & Harrow’s menu and lunch/dinner hours. Follow our e-news and Facebook and Instagram pages for details on the opening and daily operating hours as they are finalized.

Since Hope Served’s launch in 2021, individuals and families with disabilities have worked together to formulate a vision to create jobs for those with disabilities as well as job training and volunteer opportunities. We are excited about this location: a community hub on Pleasant View’s campus that is centralized for residents and fitness center guests, with easy access for other campus guests to stop by for breakfast, coffee, and socialization. We look forward to fostering a sense of community in this gathering place.
