Per the attached letter, Hope Served was not selected as the development team for the Hope No. 1 Historic Firehouse, located at 26 E. High St., Manheim, PA. While this news was a disappointment to our team and to the loyal constituents of Hope Served, we knew all along that there was a possibility that another development team would be selected to revitalize the building. With that in mind, we concurrently and actively pursued other locations while we awaited a decision, and we are very excited about the possibilities that we have uncovered! At this time, Hope Served continues to evaluate several unique properties within the borough of Manheim and will continue to interface with the Lancaster County Land Bank Authority, where our missions intersect. We are optimistic that this connection will be key to creating affordable housing opportunities as we seek to create exceptional live-work environments for individuals affected by disability in our town. We remain committed to working with the greater Manheim community as we co-create revolutionary and sustainable opportunities for adults with different abilities to authentically participate in all aspects of life.
Blessings,
Hope Served comes alongside individuals with disabilities and their local communities to develop creative opportunities for authentic participation in all aspects of life.
